Buying or selling a watch requires an expert valuation, it’s important to be aware of what the experts look for by knowing the answers to the most fundamental questions. Here is what you can expect from a watch appraisal.

There are 2 main reasons why you should have your watch appraised, including:

To determine the replacement value for insurance purposes if something happens to your piece.
To get the fair market value, which is an estimated price for your piece if you decide to sell it.

As a Licensed Watch and Jewellery Appraiser we are happy to assist you in getting your watch appraised.

The first thing we need to do is get to know as much as we can about your watch. Once you have selected and ordered your watch appraisal below (24hr premium or 72hr appraisal) in order to appraise the watch, we will then request:

Basic Details of the watch – the brand, the model, the year and the reference number.
Some pictures of the watch and any accessories that it comes with (box, papers etc).
The condition of the watch and the strap/bracelet.
If it’s an older watch – when the watch was last serviced?
Is there any service paperwork?
Does the watch function as it should?

Once we have ALL the information required you will be emailed a copy of your Watch Appraisal Certificate.
